Metal garden items are very easy to maintain. Our (powder-coated) metal is easy to clean. We advise you to clean your metal garden furniture twice a year. To extend the life of your metal garden items, remove any emerging rust immediately and treat the area with a rust-resistant primer. This prevents the rust from returning.
Maintenance and cleaning: use a soft cloth and the Multi surface cleaner (Art. 74977) for general cleaning. Avoid scratches and do not use scouring pads. Regularly check for damage to the coating and touch it up in time to prevent rust formation.
Important tip! We advise you not to place metal garden furniture within a radius of 20 kilometres from the sea. The salty sea air accelerates the oxidation of metal particles, which increases the risk of rust formation.
